The Story Behind the Jersey

The 2026/27 Home Jersey was created to celebrate SSC Napoli’s centenary, marking 100 years since the club was founded in 1926. The design looks both to the past and to the future, bringing together the memories of generations of Napoli supporters with a modern interpretation of the club’s famous sky-blue identity.

At the heart of the jersey is the special Centenary crest, created specifically for this historic season. The emblem brings together four powerful symbols: the Corsiero del Sole, the horse that served as Napoli’s first symbol in 1926; the number 100, celebrating a century of history; the infinity symbol, representing the timeless connection between Naples and its team; and the current SSC Napoli emblem, connecting the club’s origins with its international present.

The beautiful Centenary Blue shade takes inspiration from the unmistakable Azzurro worn throughout Napoli history, while the fabric features a subtle texture inspired by the lightweight wool shirts associated with the club during the 1980s. The classic polo-style collar, V-shaped neckline and ribbed sleeve cuffs add an elegant vintage character to the modern design.

Additional details make the jersey especially meaningful. The back of the collar features “Partenopei,” a proud reference to the people of Naples and one of the club’s most enduring identities. The shirt also carries the EA7 logo, MSC main sponsor, Sorgesana on the back and Dongfeng on the sleeve.
